The Ashes

The series is named after a satirical obituary published in a British newspaper, The Sporting Times, in 1882 after a match at The Oval in which Australia beat England on an English ground for the first time. The obituary stated that English cricket had died, and the body will be cremated and the ashes taken to Australia. The English media dubbed the next English tour to Australia (1882–83) as the quest to regain The Ashes.

Global Warming

Throughout its long history, Earth has warmed and cooled time and again. Climate has changed when the planet received more or less sunlight due to subtle shifts in its orbit, as the atmosphere or surface changed, or when the Sun’s energy varied. But in the past century, another force has started to influence Earth’s climate: humanity

Global warming is the unusually rapid increase in Earth’s average surface temperature over the past century primarily due to the greenhouse gases released by people burning fossil fuels.

The impact of global warming is far greater than just increasing temperatures. Warming modifies rainfall patterns, amplifies coastal erosion, lengthens the growing season in some regions, melts ice caps and glaciers, and alters the ranges of some infectious diseases. Some of these changes are already occurring.

Export Management Companies(EMC's)

Import export businesses, also known as international trading, are one of the hottest commercial trends of this decade. American companies trade in over 2.5 trillion dollars a year in merchandise, of which small businesses control over 95 percent. As the owner of an import export enterprise, you can work as a distributor by focusing on exporting and importing goods & services that cannot be obtained on national soil (e.g. Russian Caviar and French perfumes) or those that are cheaper when imported from other countries (e.g., Chinese electronics). In addition, you can also open an export management company (EMC), where you can help an existing corporation market its products in a foreign country by arranging the shipping and storing of the merchandise for them without doing the actual selling. EMCs can specialize in one industry or work with different types of import export manufacturers. It is also possible to act as a broker for a company, working on commission over the actual sales. This is a great choice for products that are guaranteed to sell because of high demand or an established brand name.

Summer Interns during MBA

I suppose that summer interns during MBA is the most crucial part of this post graduate program. Few students don't take it seriously and end up buying projects and project files. Their learning is close to zero. But for students who want to be successful in life should work hard and smart during this period. Getting good stipend should not be the priority. One should look for the profile that is most suitable for your future growth. Summer internship should be treated as if you are on a job. You get a very good exposure and experience in this internship. Lot of things depend on your trainer, But the major part is "YOU". Everything depends on you for your good performance during interns. Try to give 200% performance during this period. As the summer internship period is of almost 6 weeks, so don't waste time during this period. You can use the experience from this internship in your MBA and for future perspectives.
